What “checked by SDTV” actually means.
A school page is useful only when a dancer can distinguish a stable fact, a changing class detail and something we still do not know. This is the public contract behind every SDTV school profile.

Three layers of truth
School profile
Stable venue identity, address, styles, newcomer fit and official routes supported by retained sources and a visible check date.
Live class
A specific time, level, price, language or place. These details expire quickly and are never inferred from a stable school profile.
A profile is published only when
- The organization and physical venue are clearly identified.
- A current address and at least one relevant social-dance style are supported by an official or authoritative source.
- Possible duplicates and branches have been resolved.
- The school appears active and the public English and Spanish copy is original.
- Unknown facts remain unknown; we do not fill gaps with guesses or reviews.
Different facts expire at different speeds
“Checked” is not the same as “available now”. SDTV keeps the stable profile and changing inventory separate.

What counts as evidence
We prefer the school’s own website, booking system, official schedule or official social account. An authoritative public or partner source may corroborate identity and address. A competitor listing is only a research lead: its descriptions, ratings, photos and reviews are not republished.
Readable by people and machines
Canonical profile URLs, visible sources, dates, bilingual copy, XML sitemaps and structured data describe the same public facts. Private candidates and personal contact details are excluded from the public data surface.
Corrections are part of the product
Every public profile keeps its source links and check date. Schools and dancers can report an error, a move or a closure. A school claim adds a stronger verification route, but it does not erase the editorial history.
