Make your festival the weekend dancers remember — and book again.

I help festival leaders and organizers turn the energy of one weekend into a media system that builds visibility, trust and demand for the next edition. Strategy, creative direction, production and distribution — backed by 15 years inside social dance and an audience of 1M+.

Festival growth, built in the field

One weekend should keep working long after it ends.

I built Social Dance TV to connect festival positioning, production, editorial judgment and distribution. I now bring that operating experience to organizers who need the media to build trust before the event and demand for the next edition after it.

Work with me

Two ways I can help.

Most clients come for festival media direction. I also take on selected private advisory for founders and creators who have built something real and need a clearer next move.

01Festival media direction

For festival leaders who need the media to drive the next edition

I connect strategy, filming, creative direction and release around one goal: turning this edition into trust and demand for the next.

This is for your festival if

  • You run an established or ambitious festival and want to grow without losing what makes it special.
  • Production, social and communication depend on too many people without one clear direction.
  • You want content that builds trust and demand after the weekend — not just a folder of clips.
02Private advisory & mentoring

For founders and creators who have built something real

Bring the project, audience, offer or decision that has become difficult to see clearly. We find the issue and turn it into a usable next move.

We’ll work well together if

  • You’ve built something real, but the next step is no longer obvious.
  • Your audience, offer or team has outgrown the way you currently work.
  • You want an honest, experienced perspective and decisions you can act on — not generic motivation.

How we’d work together

One clear line from the real problem to what happens next.

01

Context

A 30-minute call to look at your festival, team and next edition as they are today. If you are here for advisory, bring the project and decision in front of you.

02

Diagnosis

We identify where the festival is losing clarity, attention or momentum — and name it plainly.

03

Direction

We turn that into a clear position, media direction, release logic and the decisions that need to happen next.

04

Execution

We decide what your team can own, what I should direct and what needs hands-on delivery. Advisory stays focused on the decisions where it adds value.

Festival client feedback

The strongest proof is who comes back.

Selected feedback from long-term festival clients. Names are withheld by agreement.

Operating principle

The goal is not more content. It is a festival people remember — and book again.

A clear position, a story people want to share and a deliberate release plan turn one weekend into longer demand. My role is to connect those parts into one system your team can actually run.

Build momentum before, during and after the weekend.

See how the work evolved

How the work evolved

The camera opened the door. Building the media system became the real work.

It started with a blurry photograph at a dance festival in St. Petersburg in summer 2011. I captured one frame and something clicked. What stayed with me wasn’t the technique. It was the feeling inside the image. That was when I began seeing dance instead of simply watching it.

Inside the floorThe instinct in practice at Mamboland · close enough to feel the room, unobtrusive enough not to change it.

I had already spent years inside this world — dancing salsa, teaching and living at socials and congresses. So I wasn’t an outsider pointing a lens at dancers. I knew how the room felt from the inside. The best coverage preserves that feeling instead of making people perform for the camera.

“The most valuable part of dance was never the steps. It was what people felt between them.”

From filming festivals to building their media systems

For years I travelled the world as “the festival videographer.” Over time, clients saw that the value went beyond filming — I was building visibility, trust and relationships across the scene. The work needed to become a system, not a service tied entirely to my presence.

That is why I built Social Dance TV into a media platform for the global social-dance scene. Festivals work with us to be seen, remembered and positioned for the next edition. The camera still matters. The greater value comes from the strategy, editorial judgment and distribution network behind it.

The camera stayed. The work expanded into strategy, production and distribution.

Experience behind the direction

Direction grounded in execution.

I know what every recommendation costs in time, attention and team capacity because I have had to execute these decisions at real festivals. The direction is specific enough to produce, publish and use — not merely agree with.

Straight answers.

Do you also advise founders and creators outside festivals?
Yes. The page is organizer-first because festival media is where my operating record and strongest outcomes are most visible. I also take on selected private advisory and mentoring for founders and creators who already have an active business, platform, audience or creative practice and need an important next move clarified.
Do you travel?
Yes. I’m based in Barcelona and work internationally, with regular projects across Europe and the United States.
How much does it cost?
Advisory and festival direction are defined separately. After the first call, you receive a written scope, timeline and fee before making any commitment.
What languages do you work in?
English, Spanish and Russian.

Plan the next edition

Make the weekend work harder for what comes next.

In 30 minutes, we’ll look at your festival’s position, the gap in its media and the right next move for the next edition. If you are here for private advisory, bring the project and decision in front of you. If I’m not the right person, I’ll say so.

Primarily for festival founders, directors and organizers. Selected private advisory is available to founders and creators with an active project, audience or offer.
