Beach Festival or City Congress?

A beach festival and a city congress can share a headliner and still be two different weekends. One is a holiday that happens to have workshops; the other is a dance-first marathon that happens to have a city outside the door. We film both, and the difference shows up before anyone has danced a step — in the registration line. At the beach, people are already half on holiday. In the city, they are checking the schedule.

Beach: the vibe is the product

Pool socials, daytime slowness, the long gold hour before the night even starts. You dance a little less and you remember it a little more. On camera a beach floor is forgiving — the light does half the work and nobody is in a hurry. It is the right first festival and the right couples’ trip; it is the wrong pick if you flew in purely to train.

City: the floor is the product

Tighter schedules, deeper level rooms, socials that run past the point where the sun comes back up. Nobody is here by accident. You go home wrecked in the good way, with a notebook full of things to drill. Choose it when the dancing itself is the holiday — not the backdrop to one.

Neither one is better; they answer different questions. Before you book, decide which weekend you are actually buying — the memory or the mileage — and the rest of the choice makes itself.
